    Hi everyone.

As some of you know, offline robbery has been a lot more common this lore than it was before, and I for one am getting pretty tired of it. We've devised a new way to find people who have stolen from claimed areas, so we will be catching people who do this from now on. However, just catching people doing it isn't enough. Offline has been against the rules since near the beginning of New Dawn. This is not a new rule, and breaking it can completely ruin someone's experience of the game. That's why we are going to start cracking down VERY hard on people who offline rob.

Previously, we were very lenient. If you say you didn't see the claim we might ask you to return the items with a slap on the wrist. This is no longer a valid excuse, as it's come to our attention that several people have been abusing our leniency. Offline robbery is now a two strike system. We will still give you a single warning to change your ways. But the second time we catch you doing this, we will be removing you from the game, without the possibility of reapplying. We may be more lenient with newer players, but for anyone who has been around more than a few months, we intend to follow through. This is not a new rule, and if you have not taken it to heart by now, we don't believe we can trust you to be on this server.

Not seeing the claims is no longer an excuse. You should be LOOKING for claims whenever you go into a building to take anything. I know this all sounds very harsh, but as long as you look for claims you shouldn't have any problems.

Ever since Niles came to Barter Town offline robbery has become an issue.

I'm not saying he's behind it, but I'm not saying he's not behind it either.

Just clarifying. Claim notes need to have the characters name on it right?

    Can't just have *Claimed*

It has to have *Claimed by_____*

That's part of the rules I linked above, yes. The only exception is mechanical safehouse claims, which don't need notes at all.
